Our opening hours
We are open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm and until 10pm on Friday. Last admission to the galleries is thirty minutes before closing. The box office closes at 5.30pm everyday except Friday when it closes at 9.30pm.
Also: late night opening on Saturday nights until 10pm from 22 January 2005 to 9 April 2005 (except 12 March 2005).
Restaurant opening hours
Monday to Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 10am-5.30pm.
Friday 10am-5pm and 6.15pm-10pm (last orders 8.30pm).
Cloakroom
We regret that we cannot accept suitcases or large backpacks in the cloakroom or in the galleries at this time.

Getting here by Tube
The closest tube stations are Piccadilly (on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines) and Green Park (on the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines). Oxford Circus and Bond Street are the nearest tube stations on the Central Line. Both are approximately 10 minutes walk away.

Route: Putney Heath (Green Man), Putney, Fulham Broadway, South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road Station. On schooldays two afternoon journeys start from Putney (Elliott School). - The number 19 bus service
Route: Finsbury Park, Highbury, Islington, Bloomsbury, Tottenham Court Road Station, Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge, Sloane Square, Chelsea, Battersea Bridge (Southside). - The number 22 bus service
